I’m a Senior Data & Business Intelligence professional based in Jeffersonville, Indiana, with 20+ years of experience delivering enterprise-scale analytics solutions across healthcare, financial services, scientific research, and nonprofit sectors.

My background spans the full Business Intelligence stack: terabyte-scale data marts at Wells Fargo, enterprise reporting architecture at Eurofins Scientific, Azure-hosted SaaS platforms, and KPI systems with direct compliance implications. I’ve served as DBA, ETL architect, and lead Business Intelligence analyst — I understand how every layer fits together.

Excel sits at the center of more Business Intelligence work than most people admit. I’ve used it in some capacity on the vast majority of my projects — data profiling, Power Query pipelines, executive dashboards, Six Sigma reporting, and as a source or destination in ETL workflows. I know when Excel is the right tool and how to make it work hard.

The tools change. The mission doesn’t: help executives and decision-makers understand what’s actually happening in the data — and act with confidence.

Most Cyclistic capstone submissions confirm what was expected before the analysis started. This one found things the data actually contained. Working with 12 months of real Divvy trip data, the analysis was implemented in five tools—Power BI, SQL Server + SSIS, DuckDB, R, and Python—with every result cross-validated. Cross-validation surfaced a DAX vs. SQL semantic difference, an e-bike hardware inference from data structure alone, and a measurable commuter sub-segment of casual riders no other submission has identified.
